Birding without Bill Oddie Wednesday January 21, 2009
As some people already know, I’m a bit of a serial networker. Now I’ve got on board the Twittertrain. For Twitterfans out there, you’ll already know why, for anyone else – no, it’s not a birding fan club (as I used to think). It’s one of the fastest growing ways of keeping and creating contacts, personal or professional. It’s also another way of learning new things or just hearing about the weird or wonderful happenings in people’s daily lives. Here’s a helpful overview on Twitter for business from Internet marketing expert, Susan Hallam and an article by techno-journalist Shane Richmond which stirred up lots of debate. You can join me by clicking on the Twitter icons on the Green Light Copywriting Home or About pages or by following this link. It’s an alternative way to network. Minus Bill Oddie. (Not that I have anything against you, Bill).

Nice to see you on Twitter Camilla! My top tip if you’re an individual: minimise the amount of people you follow but add value to the conversation with links and signpost interesting opportunities. I’m there too: www.twitter.com/susioneill
