One important way AI could impact the future of copywriting 7 April 2024
Are AI solutions such as ChatGPT the harbingers of doom or the route to new and better things in copywriting and marketing? Even the best futurologist can’t be exact in predicting what lies ahead.
While no-one knows for sure how AI will shape marketing in the medium- to long-term, there is plenty of concerned and concerning commentary on the topic. So I was interested by this article from Laura Marzec of The Mx Group. It has something more positive to say about the impact of AI on content marketing. In Laura’s view, the current wave of generic, AI-generated content will actually usher in a new age of content marketing.
Why? Because it will drive businesses to improve the nature of the content they create, ensuring it has a unique and compelling point of view. This is because companies will need to clarify their messaging so that it stands out amid a sea of bland, samey content. I think this can only be a good thing for businesses and their copywriting approach. What do you think?
