Everyone knows that starting from scratch can be tough. That’s where copywriting can make all the difference.
Fact: creating a new business is tough. Finding the right voice for that business even more so. The testimonial above is from a client who got in touch to ask for help. They needed to create a new tone of voice for a new app aimed at changing how people connect.
The business was moving from the development phase to getting the app trialled in the real-world. So they wanted app content and emails that would connect with those all-important early adopters. The messaging had to be brief (dare I say, punchy?) but also had to focus on the next steps that users needed to take.
The client wanted a copywriting approach that would give them a voice that was fresh but also familiar, in a good way. It was all about finding the balance between introducing something new but also making the app user feel like they were part of something. But this wasn’t just about building a rapport; the content also needed to guide and inspire users to keep progressing in the app journey.
So I got to do what I love doing best: really digging deep into the company’s identity and ideal audience, then translate that into the right tone of voice.
