Most surreal sign of the week 29 July 2011

When is a door not a door? When the sign says so.
In terms of copywriting, this is a nice example of statement and image working to surreal effect.
While the sign is indeed telling us that this is not a functional door, it all comes across as a strange conflict. Quite amusing here. But what mixed messages could your copy be giving away about your product or service?
