Five years - five ideas 31 July 2008
You can pack in a lot of interesting experiences into five years. With Green Light Copywriting exactly half a decade old today, here are just five things I’ve learned along the way:
1) Every organisation has engaging stories to tell. Are you making the most of yours in your communications?
2) Keep on looking at an apparently uninteresting subject from different angles – and you’ll soon find a fresh way to write about it.
3) Sometimes you just have to follow something halfway between a hunch and an idea – you might be surprised where it leads.
4) Keep a few key words or themes in mind even when writing on a complex subject – it’s surprising how it focuses the mind.
5) Half a decade already? A reminder of how fast time goes and why it’s even more important to get communications right.
