Keep it human, always: why 2026 will be the year of persuasive copywriting 16 January 2026

Some so-called copywriting trends never really go away. That’s why a blog article I wrote on changes in marketing habits in early 2025 is still relevant today.

And it’s probably why it was cited in an article on copywriting trends for 2026 in this article from WebProNews. The piece points out that the continued reliance on AI is set to have an interesting effective on copywriting.

The rise of generic content will drive the need for more persuasive writing. It’s all about being human-centric, something I’ve been blogging about for almost 17 years.

Because, in the move that the article predicts from keyword-stuffed content to human-centric narratives, copywriters are positioned as “strategic superheroes in saturated digital markets”!

Agreed, if being a superhero means humanising organisations with writing that is always strategic, but also empathetic.

And if it means creating messaging that brings a business to life as much as it allows it to reach the right audience.

2026 as the year that businesses truly embrace persuasive, people-driven content? Bring it on.
