I heard recently that companies who keep their marketing fresh during a recession steam ahead of those that don’t. What at first sight seems surprising is really quite logical. After all, people still need services. They still need to make commercial choices. They’re just likely to be more careful about how they spend their money. Powerful communications help businesses promote themselves to suit a more watchful customer base. Copywriting allows companies to attune their resources (such as websites, brochures, even blogs) more sensitively to their audience. In uncertain times, a strong voice is powerful stuff.
