Yes, the old saying about style is also true for writing content. You want your communications to stand out and your marketing messages to make perfect sense? Don’t overdress that brochure with information – or overwhelm your news release with detail! I find a big part of writing copy is cutting back to a few key messages and finding the right words to say them. Many of my writing projects begin with taking away excess information and developing the core messages afresh. Then it’s all about finding the right words and adding the writing surprise.
