A unique view of the written world 26 August 2010


Here’s something special that combines the power of the written word with the visual impact of signs. It probably doesn’t take visitors to my blog very long to see that I have a fascination for words in public (you may have guessed from all my photos). The Visual Dictionary is a beautifully presented record of the written world, from advertising to randomly written phrases. It’s where an eye for design and an instinct for writing collide. So far they have 7500 images of over 4000 words. They call it a catalogue. I call it a feast for the eyes.
