Back to the future 30 December 2009
2010. It sounds like ‘the future’ as written in a science fiction novel. With 2009 behind us, here are just a few of my hopes and predictions for the year ahead.
No, Christmas doesn’t have an apostrophe
I look forward to a world where the apostrophe is taken more seriously. (Or at least put in the right place).
Is the writing off the wall?
With email, social networking and ‘txting’ on the rise, will handwriting be phased out? Or should it be? Some people think so.
Communicating in style
Will people learn more about how they can benefit from the secrets behind email psychology and online communication?
What’s new with social media?
So the most popular word of 2009 was Twitter. But what lies ahead for the world of social media? Here are some clues.
A bright future for copy?
Will this be the year that more people keep us entertained with fun, eye catching ideas for communicating their message? I hope so.
Here’s to a very interesting – and rewarding – 2010!
